MAISON FILIA
Client: Maison Filia — a Paris embroidery and textile-marking studio, founded in 2024, working with individuals and companies on logo embroidery, garment marking and custom pieces.
Mission: To build a complete brand identity for a craft workshop that sells a physical, tactile product, and to make that identity survive the jump from screen to stitched thread.
Challenge: Most of the brand’s touchpoints are embroidered. A mark that reads well on a website can collapse at 6 cm on a chest patch, where thread has a minimum stitch width and fine detail simply fills in. The identity had to hold from a full-width hero down to a monogram the size of a coin, in a single colour, without losing the handwritten character that makes the workshop feel personal rather than industrial.
Outcome: A handwritten wordmark with an MF monogram drawn as one continuous stroke, so it survives reduction and embroiders cleanly in a single thread weight. Two colours carry the whole system: gold #A4863D and charcoal #333333. The mark ships in four lockups — full wordmark, monogram, circular badge and the “True to you, remarkable by design” seal — plus a repeating MF pattern used as a lining and background. The identity is applied across a thirteen-piece embroidered patch range, gold-foiled packaging, and the studio’s own website.
